Downloading Jurtle


Jurtle will run unlicensed for 7 days to allow you to evaluate it. All features will be available and it is not crippled in any way. After the 7 day evaluation period, you must purchase a license to continue using Jurtle.

Windows

Before installing Jurtle on Windows, be sure you have downloaded and installed the latest Java Development Kit (JDK) from Sun Microsystems. To get the JDK, click here and choose the JDK download (not the NetBeans Cobundle) for Windows. Also make sure you choose the J2SE installation and not the J2EE.

After installing the SDK, download Jurtle_1.8.1.exe and double click it to install.

Mac OS X

Mac OS X comes with the Java Software Development Kit already installed. You only need to download the Jurtle_1.8.1.dmg disk image, double-click to mount it (if needed) and drag the Jurtle folder to your Application folder.

Linux (or generic Unix)

Before installing Jurtle on Linux, be sure you have downloaded and installed the latest Java Software Development Kit (JDK) from Sun Microsystems. To get the JDK, click here and choose the SDK download (not the NetBeans Cobundle) for Linux. Also make sure you choose the J2SE installation and not the J2EE.

After installing the SDK, download Jurtle_1.8.1.zip, uncompress it and follow the installation instructions.
