Tapping the Info button in the toolbar displays the Object Info panel, allowing you to learn more about the currently selected object.
At the top of the panel is a table showing the various properties of the selected object. The top section of the table shows apparent properties, as the object would appear from Earth. The bottom section show the actual physical properties of the object.
Tapping or clicking this link will initiate a web search for the object, which searches using all of its catalog numbers and proper names. A web search is quite useful for learning more about the object.
If you have the SkySafari application installed on your device, there will be an Open in SkySafari link present. This will attempt to open SkySafari and direct it to select and center the object in its main view.
